Biografía:
Slayer es una de las bandas mas importantes del thrash metal formada en EE.UU.
Fue fundada en el parque de Huntington (no Huntington Beach como se ha divulgado a menudo), California en 1982 por los guitarristas Kerry King y Jeff Hanneman, reclutando para la banda al bajista/vocalista de origen chileno Tom Araya y al baterista de origen cubano Dave Lombardo. Lombardo ha estado dentro y fuera de la banda varias veces, pero los otros integrantes han sido constantes. Hanneman y King son los compositores principales del grupo.
