Biografía:
Sebadoh es una banda de indie rock formada en Northampton, Massachusetts en 1986 por Eric Gaffney, DJ en la estación radial WOZQ, y por el bajista y fundador de Dinosaur Jr., Lou Barlow. Después de dejar Dinosaur Jr., Barlow se reúne con Gaffney para grabar una colección de demos que fueron lanzados por el sello Homestead como los álbumes The Freed Man del año 1989, y Weed Forestin de 1990. Jason Loewenstein ingresa el verano de 1989, siendo el sencillo Gimme Indie Rock de 1991 la primera ocasión en que interviene.
