SBTRKT, o subtractone, es el nombre del penúltimo proyecto llamado a la renovación del house británico. Aaron Jerome, conocido por su dedicación a los menesteres del soul y broken beat en tiempos pasados decidió enfundarse un nuevo rol tras una máscara de influencias tribales para destilar una cuidadosa mezcla formada por UK bass, garage, 2step, techno y house de masas. Ahí donde las fronteras musicales se cruzan con el único fin de delimitar la música de baile que debería de sonar en cualquier club.
