Saving Abel es una banda de rock alternativo formada porJared Weeks y Jason Null en 2004. El nombre de la banda hace referencia a la historia bíblica de Abel y Cain.Aunque el nombre originario de la banda proceda de la biblia, no son un grupo cristiano.
Jared Weeks y Jason Null formaron la banda en su pequeña población de Cotinth,Mississippi en el año 2004.Mientras Weeks estaba tocando la guitarra en la casa de su mejor amigo, Null tocada en una banda local rival.
