Biografía:
Wintersleep formó parte de Dependent Music, un sello de música que se inició en Yarmouth, Nueva Escocia, por donde publicaron sus dos primeros álbumes. En 2006 la banda firma con Labwork Music, una subsidiaria de EMI Canada dedicada a artistas emergente de la escena alternativa. por donde lanzan Welcome to the Night Sky y nuevas ediciones de sus dos primeros trabajos.
Giraron por Estados Unidos, Canadá y Europa, compartiendo escenario con artistas como Pearl Jam, The Tragically Hip y The Slip.
