Biografía:
Tune-Yards es el proyecto musical de Merrill Garbus, nativa de Nueva Inglaterra. Su primer álbum fue Bird-Brains autoeditado por ella en cinta de cassette reciclado y grabado sólo usando un registro de voz de mano. Un segundo álbum, whokill , fue lanzado el 19 de abril de 2011 y el sencillo "Bizness" salió en febrero del mismo año. Fue producido por Garbus y fabricado por Eli Crews además de trabajar con Nate Brenner quien colaboró algunas canciones del albúm.
