Biografía:
Los Tokens son un grupo vocal americano de doo-wop de Brooklyn, Nueva York. Conocidos, sobre todo, por su disco, "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" de 1961.
El grupo se formó en 1955 en Brooklyn, en la Abraham Lincoln High School, y conocido con el nombre de Linc-Tones. Inicialmente formado por Neil Sedaka, Hank Medress, Eddie Rabkin, y Cynthia Zolotin. Rabkin fue sustituido por Jay Siegel en 1956, y la banda grabó su primer single, "While I Dream" .
