Biografía:
The Stranglers siempre supieron, unas veces más afortunadas que otras, especialmente en su primera y fenomenal etapa, pero casi siempre con interés, acomodarse a las tendencias sonoras del momento.
Así, con influencias de la Velvet Underground, Television, The Kinks, Zappa, The Rolling Stones, The Doors o, en general, el garage-rock/proto-punk 60’s, pasaron con facilidad del pub rock al punk, la new wave o al pop de sintetizadores, en una larga carrera principiada a mediados de los años 70.

Okay, this song is a bit trickey as it changes time signature during the verses (from 6/8
to 7/8, I think) but you'll
get the hang of it. It just means keeping the last chords in the bar for that extra beat
on 7/8. I've shown where to do this.
