Grupo de folk-pop australiano, de gran éxito en Gran Bretaña, país en el cual se codearon en las listas de ventas con las legendarias figuras de mitad de los 60 gracias a su disposición acústica desarrollada en piezas folk tradicional de agradable facturación melódica y buen trabajo en armonías vocales, deudora de los primeros sonidos de Simon & Garfunkel o el trío Peter, Paul & Mary.
Procedentes de una banda denominada The Escorts, The Seekers se formaron en 1963
