Biografía:
Karen Matheson (11 de febrero de 1963) es una cantante escocesa de música folk que normalmente canta en gaélico. Es la cantante principal del grupo Capercaillie y fue miembro del grupo de Dan Ar Braz, Héritage des Celtes, en el que solía ser la primera voz principal, ya fuera sola o junto con Elaine Morgan. Ambas recibieron muchos elogios por sus voces conjuntadas en la canción "Diwanit Bugale", que representó a Francia en el Festival de Eurovisión de 1996. Hizo un "cameo" en la película Rob Roy (1995) cantando "Ailein duinn".
