Biografía:
Johnny Winter (Beaumont, Estados Unidos, 23 de febrero de 1944 — Zúrich, Suiza, 16 de julio de 2014) , guitarrista estadounidense de blues y de rock. Winter se convirtió en una superestrella del blues eléctrico a finales de los años sesenta y para el festival de Woodstock ya era una leyenda. Durante la última etapa de Muddy Waters produjo sus 3 últimos discos.
Winter formó su primera banda a los 14 años con su hermano Edgar. Pasó su juventud grabando temas con proyección regional y tocando blues en los bares.
