Got off work. Stopped in to have a round.

A couple games of pool just to wind on down.

Bartender says he's got 'em, "But they're staying here with me."

[Chorus]
A
'Cause you're too drunk to drive drunk this time.
E
Too drunk to drive drunk this time.
B
I know you might have did it a million times before,
E
But you ain't driving outta here like this no more.

[Verse 2]
E
I went and looked at my car. My car looked back at me.
E
I said, "We can't go nowhere, the bartender's got my keys."
E
You might of driven drunk outta here before,
E
But I ain't gonna let you do it anymore.

[Chorus]
A
'Cause you're too drunk to drive drunk this time.

Yeah baby I know it.
E
I might be at the wheel, but Jim Beam's driving the car.
E
That's ok. I can't drive 55 no damn way.
E
Oh! Did I hit you?
E
Remember, everybody in the club drive safe on the way home.
E
'Cause that car you hit might be mine.
E
Yeah baby! Too damn drunk!
E
I ain't drunk, I just been drinking.
