Jodeci esta compuesto por dos parejas de hermanos, el nombre del grupo proviene de sus alías: Jojo Hailey, Kc Hailey, De Vante Swing Degate. En 1991, grabaron Forever My Lady su segundo álbum ,Díary of a Mad Band, fue platino, The Show, The After Party, The Hotel salió en 1995 donde termina la carrera de uno de los cuartetos mas valiosos del R&B.
