Biografía:
Músico de rock y de blues. Nació en Clarksdale, Mississippi en 1931. Músico autodidacta, comienza muy joven con el grupo Kings of Rhythm, y de disk-jockey en la radio. En 1951 graba su primer éxito "Rocket 88" (algunos críticos dicen que esta canción fue el primer Rock and Roll de la historia). En 1956 tocando en St. Louis, una joven llamada Annie Bullock salta al escenario y se pone a tocar con ellos= nace Tina Turner. Cosechan sus mejores éxitos en los 60, compartiendo giras con los Rolling Stones.
