Biografía:
Junior Murvin (llamado Murvin Junior Smith, en Puerto Antonio, Jamaica, 1949) cantante reggae. Major conocido por el sencillo “Police and Thieves", producido por Lee “Scratch” Perry en 1976. Convirtió este tema en un insuperable durante el verano en que lo lanza, esta canción influencia tanto que incluso fue grabada por los pioneros del punk rock The Clash , en su álbum debutante, al año de haberla lanzado Murvin.
Su ultimo trabajo grabado fue un sencillo titulado "Wise Man", lanzado en Dubwise en Londres en 1998.
