Biografía:
Hope Sandoval (nacida el 24 de junio de 1966) es una cantautora norteamericana de la banda Mazzy Star y, posteriormente, Hope Sandoval & the Warm Inventions.
Procede de una familia méxico-americana del este de Los Ángeles, California. Estudió en el colegio Mark Keppel High School. En 1986 formó un dúo musical folklórico llamado Going Home with Sylvia Gomez (Llendo a casa con Sylvia Gomez), y grabó un álbum producido por David Roback que nunca salió a la venta.
La banda lanzó su primer album llamado "Bavarian Fruit Bread" en 2001
