Gene Austin (junio 24to, 1900 hasta enero 24, 1972) fue un cantante estadounidense y compositor, uno de los primeros "crooners". Sus composiciones de 1920 "When My Sugar Walks Down the Street" y "The Lonesome Road" luego marcarían los estándares del pop.
