História

Eric Owyoung, vocalista e compositor, iniciou a banda "Something Like Silas em 2000. Depois de tocar em Hume Lake por 3 anos e plantação de Flood (Igreja), em San Diego, a banda assinou com a Sparrow Records. Em 2006, Something Like Silas mudou para Future of Forestry e transferido para a divisão "Credential Recordings" da EMI. O nome "Futuro das Florestas" é tirado de um poema pelo famoso Inglês autor CS Lewis
