Frederick Knight (nacido el 15 de agosto de 1944, Birmingham, Alabama) es un cantante americano de R & B, compositor y productor.
Knight grabó en Mercury y Capitol en New York antes de firmar con StAX Records en 1972. Tuvo su único éxito en el Reino Unido, "I've Been Lonely for so long", en 1972. La canción estaba en las listas por 10 semanas y alcanzó el número 22. La falta de nuevos éxitos en las listas le deja etiquetado como un One-Hit-Wonder.
Compuso y produjo el éxito "Ring My Bell", interpretado por Anita Ward.
