Fred Wedlock-Oldest Swinger In Town (live)
(Capo 2)
C* = x32013

G D G
When you're scoring with a chick in a disco bar,
C Em
Take her home in your hairy little car,
G B7 Em C
Then you find you went to school with her ma and pa,
G D
You're the oldest swinger in town.

G D G
When you won't look in the mirror in the light of day,
C Em
Swear you've dyed it when your hair turns grey,
G B7 Em C
When you zip up your trousers and your belly's in the way,
G D G
You're the oldest swinger in town.

C* G
Here you come and there you go,
A D
White wheels, spots, and a stereo,
G B7 Em C
But the engine is clapped and the driver also,
G D G
You're the oldest swinger in town.

G D G
The barber takes a little less time each week,
C Em
The kids don't understand a word you speak,
G B7 Em C
When you walk into a disco and they offer you a seat,
G D
You're the oldest swinger in town.

G D G
You prefer a pint of mild to Bacardi and Coke,
C Em
The sounds are too loud and there's too much smoke,
G B7 Em C
You'd like another dance, but you're afraid you'll have a stroke,
G D G
You're the oldest swinger in town.

C* G
Here you come with your chest all bare,
A D
A little gold ingot and a lot of gold hair,
G B7 Em C
Like the disco king meets Yogi Bear,
G D G
You're the oldest swinger in town.

G D G
When you're feeling as stiff as a skinhead's boot,
C Em
Rub on Vick's where you used to splash Brute,
G B7 Em C
And the latest punk fashion is your wedding suit,
G D
You're the oldest swinger in town.

G D G
When you have to go shopping for your sex appeal,
C Em
Travolta's shades and nine inch heels,
G B7 Em C
They say a man is just as old as the woman he feels,
G D G
You're the oldest swinger in town.

C* G
Here you come with your lips closed tight,
A D
You never smile, you know it wouldn't look right,
G B7 Em C
Cause your dentures glow in ultraviolet light,
G D
You're the oldest swinger in town.
B7 Em C
oldest swinger in town,
G B7 Em C
And you look so mean because your pants are too tight,
G D
You're the oldest swinger in town.

G B7
And it takes you all night,
Em C
To do what you used to do all night,
G D G
You're the oldest swinger in town.
