[Verse]
Am
Well there's a preacher on the corner
F
Calling out my name
Am
Tellin' me to change some things
G
Or some things are going to change.
Am
Well one of these days , it won't be long
F
He's going to have to call it quits
Am
I'm going to wave a little something in his face
G
and show him just where I live

[Chorus]
Am
I ain't ever given in
G
I ain't ever given in
Am
I ain't ever given in
G
Anytime soon

[Verse]
Am
Well I got me a girl in San Francisco
F
And she knows everything
Am
She likes to go down to the jewellery store
G
And try on the diamond rings
Am
She thinks there's going to be a day
F
When I'm going to lose my will
Am
And when I do, well you-know-who
G
is going to move in for the kill

[Chorus]
Am
I ain't ever given in
G
I ain't ever given in
Am
I ain't ever given in
G
Anytime soon

[Bridge]
Am
F
Bright lights in the middle of the night
Am
The rabbits on the run
F
Well they're going to do me
E
