Durante los primeros días del "Blasting Room" habían muchas horas para aprender a hacer discos. Jon & Chad registran alrededor de 20 horas algunas de las canciones en finales de 1996 y principios de 1997. El que estaba en el estudio de ese día podía jugar. Sólo básicamente tenía que aprender las canciones en el tiempo que tomó para jugar con ellos. Durante los próximos dos años las grabaciones se fueron pirateado mucho
Así que finalmente salio "Demos Hobo's" y surgieron algunas giras alrededor en el cambio de milenio
