Biografía:
The Divinyls fue una banda de rock Australiano conformada por la vocalista Christina Amphlett y el guitarrista Mark McEntee.
El duo inició en 1980, durante los dos primeros años cantaron en bares y clubs. En 1982 se dieron a conocer al realizar el soundtrack para la cinta "Monkey Grip" en donde además Amphlett actuó, por su aparición recibió una nominación como mejor actriz de reparto.
Durante los siguientes años lanzaron tres discos y varios sencillos con éxito moderado
