The riff that repeats in the chorus goes something like this (repeat four times):

e|------------7--------------------------------------------------|
B|-5--7--9--------9--7--5----------------------------------------|
G|---------------------------------------------------------------|
D|---------------------------------------------------------------|
A|---------------------------------------------------------------|
E|---------------------------------------------------------------|

and then changes to this (also repeat four times)

e|-----------9---------------------------------------------------|
B|-5--7--9-------9--7--5----------------------------------------|
G|---------------------------------------------------------------|
D|---------------------------------------------------------------|
A|---------------------------------------------------------------|
E|---------------------------------------------------------------|

[Verse]

E
How could we sleep when we know that it’s ending?
N.C.
We’re awake ‘cause there’s no point in pretending
A
there’s a man with a beard waiting for us,
B
dressed in white with his angels in a chorus.
E
How could we sleep when we’ve made you a promise
N.C.
we’d be together? No we’re not at all dishonest.
A
So take our hands, come along to the black hole
B
and take a ride. Let's go!

[Verse]

E
How could we sleep knowing well that his judgment
E
never errs on the side of the conflict?
A
You’ve gotta know that his mind’s all but made up,
B
so we escaped and now

[Chorus]

E
I can tell you’re nervous, don’t be,
A
everything will be fine.
B
Compelled to stay behind? I wish we could honey, but

[Verse]

E
How could we sleep when the story isn’t over?
E
Whether or not there’s a field full of clover
A
we could run through in infinite elation,
B
we’d always know that we missed the termination.
E
How could we sleep having left you behind? Well,
E
aren’t you glad that we came back to dispel
A
all the rumors waiting for you on your death bed?
B
And let you know the naked truth about them instead?

[Chorus]

E
I can tell you’re nervous, don’t be,
A
everything will be fine.
A
Compelled to stay behind? I wish we could honey, but
E
why dispel the notion that the singularity’s
A
shine is all illusion? Maybe that’s what heaven is

[Bridge]

C#m B
Nevermind fuck your position, come on, why won’t you just listen? '
E
Cause I’m guaranteeing there’s no hope at all!
C#m B
Close your eyes and lose your consciousness; but no need to abandon it,
E
just step into the darkness, lean and fall.
C#m B
Crushed into oblivion, your sense of time collapsing in
E
will feel like never-ending, wait and see.
C#m D
I’m screaming so you’ll listen! I’ll say again, fuck your position!
Eb E
What do I have to say to make you believe me? Oh, fuck!

[Chorus]

E
I can tell you’re nervous, don’t be,
A
everything will be fine.
A
Compelled to stay behind? I wish we could honey, but
E
why dispel the notion that the singularity’s
A E
shine is all illusion? Maybe that’s what heaven is

[Outro]

E B
Heads were hung and tears were shed
E B
Facing all but certain death
E
But some of us decided
B A
Our last breath wouldn't exit
E
As a gas.
