Die Apokalyptischen Reiter (los jinetes del apocalipsis) es una banda alemana de metal extremo fundada en Weimar , Turingia (Alemania) en 1995.
Su original estilo consiste en death y black metal mezclado con composiciones melodicas estableciendo un ambiente mas epico que lo que es usual en el black y death metal. Influencias folk y heavy se han ido agregando en sus albumes mas recientes, donde la influencia mas extrema ha decaido, resultando en composiciones
