Biografía:
Los comienzos de Depswa se remontan a mediados de los años 90 con el vocalista Jeremy Penick y el bajista Ryan Burchfield, bajo su nombre original de la banda "Carcinogen". A finales de los 90, Penick y Burchfield se trasladan a Los Ángeles y allí se unió el guitarrista Dan Noonan. La banda entonces decide cambiarse el nombre a "Depswa".
La banda lanzó su primer EP en 2000 titulado "Faithless", y en octubre de 2001, se une el batería Gordon Heckaman.
