Biografía:
El trío sudafricano de Johannesburg, Dear Reader, esta compuesto por Cherilyn MacNeil, Darryl y Michael.
Llevan no más de dos años y medios en la escena musical. Su historia nació luego de que Darryl escuchara cantar a MacNeil en reuniones de amigos y después de un año la convenciera de tomarse enserio el tema de la banda.
Ella hizo de la banda su vida y en entrevistas e informaciones se ve un amor y una entrega completa a la música.
En el 2006 grabaron su primer disco en un pequeño estudio de propiedad de Darryl.
