Biografía:
David Sylvian (de nombre real David Alan Batt) es un músico inglés, nacido en Beckenham, Kent; el 23 de febrero de 1958. Se dio a conocer por ser vocalista y compositor de la banda Japan.
Comenzó a tocar la guitarra a la edad de 12 años y con 16 fundó la banda Japan, grupo que en 8 años de vida (1974-1982), consiguió elevar el art-pop a su máxima expresión artística.
Fiel a su propuesta de ediciones de alto valor estético, David Sylvian se comprometió a partir de ese año
