Biografía:
fue integrante de el grupo Temptations, era la voz principal del grupo, su fuerte adiccion a las drogas, ocacionaron que lo expulsaran del grupo, y formo otro grupo con parte de los integrantes de Temptations haciendose llamar como "David Ruffin and Temptations" esta agrupacion no prospero y decidieron reunirse nuevamente, despues de el grupo se desintegro y decidio probar suerte como solista.
