Daniel Dodd "Dan" Wilson (nacido el 20 de mayo, 1961 en Minneapolis, Minnesota) es un multi-instrumentalista, vocalista, compositor y productor. Eel es también el vocalista principal de la banda Semisonic, para ellos el escribio los hits "Closing Time," "Secret Smile," and "Chemistry." Free Life es su primer proyecto como solista.
