Biografía:
Black Tide fue formada en el año 2004 por Gabriel García (guitarrista, líder y vocalista del grupo) y Alex Nuñez (guitarrista rítmico) en California, USA, quienes solo tenían 10 y 13 años respectivamente. Luego incluyeron en la banda a Zachary Sandler y a Steven Spence, que a la fecha tenían 14 y 15 años.
La banda empezó tocando en clubes y eventos locales bajo el nombre "Radio", y después cambiaron su nombre por "Black Tide" para mostrar que los miembros de esta habían "crecido un poco".
