Biografía:
Big Bill Broonzy (1893-1958) es sin duda alguna, uno de los grandes del blues de todos los tiempos. Su carrera va casi pareja a la del género, comenzando a grabar poco después de que se grabara el primer blues en 1920.
Sus canciones han sido versioneadas hasta la saciedad, quizás la más famosa haya sido "Key to the highway".
Fue protagonista de la histórica primera avanzadilla de artistas de blues a las islas británicas en 1955 junto a Muddy
