Biografía:
Banda procedente de Brooklyn, NY. Bear in Heaven (testimonio en el cielo) es formada en 2002 por el cantante, compositor y multi-instrumentista Jon Philpot. Nacido y criado en Atlanta, GA, Philpot tuvo otros proyectos antes de formar Bear in Heaven con sus compañeros sureños Adam Wills, Sadek Bazaara y Joe Stickney.
Su sonido se compara con bandas antiguas como Pink Floyd o con otras actuales como Animal Collective; el suyo es un indie rock con tintes experimentales, de post-rock y con arreglos electrónicos.
