Beach Fossils es el nombre tras es el que se esconde Dustin Payseur, un muchacho al que le gustan cosas como Joy Division, The Jesus And Mary Chains y el sonido lo-fi, todas estas influencias terminan por reflejarse en las canciones de Beach Fossils que si bien te pueden sonar algo shoegaze también se podrían emparentar por el lado del sonido de Jeremy Jay, aunque Dustin seria algo así como el primo lejano que no sale mucho de casa.
