Harris Lloyd Seaton que es su nombre de pila,nació el 3 de septiembre de 1944 en Almond Town (Kingston) siempre ha sido uno de estos artistas con un derroche de talento.
Sus inicios musicales se remontan a sus años de instituto,donde empezó a escribir temas escuchando a grupos de la epoca como los Platters, Drifters, The Four Tops o los Temptations.
