Biografía:
As I Lay Dying es una banda de Metalcore Melódico de San Diego, EE. UU. El nombre de la banda deriva del libro Mientras agonizo (en inglés As I Lay Dying) del autor William Faulkner. La banda ganó el título Ultimate Metal God de los premios de la cadena MTV2 "All That Rocks", venciendo a bandas como Lamb Of God y Mastodon. En mayo de 2013 su líder, Tim Lambesis, fue arrestado y la banda se encuentra en pausa indefinida.
