Biografía:
Arwen comienza a mediados de 1996 por idea de Jose A. Garrido (guitarra) y Luis M. Hernández ( bajo ) ,teniendo intención de plasmar en su música un heavy moderno y técnico.
En 1997 se une Nacho Ruiz como guitarrista y vocalista, más tarde pasaría a sólo cantar; en esta época las ideas compositoras de los tres dan su fruto y aparecen temas del repertorio actual con cierta influencia celta. M. Carmen Castaño seria otra incorporación a posteriori ya que el grupo necesitaba el apoyo de una voz femenina para tonos más dulces y suaves.
