Army of Me é uma banda de indie rock formada em 2002, em Washington, DC.
Dado formada oficialmente em 2002, o vocalista Vince Scheuerman e o baixista John Hutchins cresceram juntos em um culto religioso baseado em Gaithersburg, Maryland. Enquanto cresceram frustrados com tentar viver e se operar na cultura mainstream, encontraram a música como sua tomada. Começaram a tocar em várias bandas juntos quando ambos tinham dezessete anos.
