Archers of Loaf es una banda indie estadounidense que se caracteriza por un sonido desprolijo, poco convencional y exigente, aunque melodicamente accesible al mismo tiempo. Con Sonic Youth y The Replacements como influencias principales, su música es frecuentemente descripta como una versión más ruidosa e intensa del pop postmoderno de Pavement. Fue formada en Chapel Hill (Carolina del Norte) por Eric Bachmann, Matt Gentling, Eric Johnson y Mark Price en 1990.
