Biografía:
Amii Stewart, cantante de música soul, disco y más tarde de dance, nacida en 1956 en Washington.
Entró como un rayo dentro del panorama musical de con su versión de "Knock on Wood", un tema que ya interpretó Eddie Floyd; uno de los mejores cantantes de deep soul de Montgomery. Una de sus épocas más gloriosas fue la etapa que trabajo en los musicales de Broadway, entre los que destacó como protagonista de "Bubbling Brown Sugar". Otra de las versiones que la inmmortalizaron fue una genial interpretación de "Light my fire" de The Doors
