Agents Of Oblivion foi uma banda de metal alternativo de Louisiana que evolui a partir das cinzas de outra banda: Acid Bath . A banda era dirigida por Dax Riggs, e o seu som é uma mistura de rock psicodélico, doom-metal, swamp, rock, folk-rock, blues-rock e outros
Após a morte de Audie Pitre (Acid Bath) , Dax Riggs decidiu formar uma banda com um som mais lento. Essa foi Daisyhead & The Mooncrickets. No entanto ela apenas estabeleceu as bases do que viria a ser.
