Vindos de oeste de Sydney, A Broken Silence lançado na cena do rock hip-hop em 2008. Quebrando o silêncio com seu LP de estréia All For What... em 2009, o quinteto começou a consumir rapidamente os ouvidos do hip-hop e entusiastas de rock do mundo.
Era tudo para que que foi pego por Tim Freedman (o Whitlams) que gostou tanto, ele saltou sobre o seu primeiro single "The Road é Lost ', que foi excursionou ao redor da Austrália Apoiado por um pedaço 88-orquestra e tocou para venda a audiência em toda a Austrália
