Biografía:
los 88 Fingers Louie surgieron como banda en la primavera de 1993 en chicago,con la intencion de hacer un punk rock divertido, su nombre proviene de un personaje de la serie Los Picapiedra. En1993 los 88 autolanzaron su primer Ep y aparecieron en unos recopilatorios locales de punk rock antes de llamar la atencion del sello discografico "Fat Wreck Chords en 1994.
Con sus primeros Ep´s Go Away and Wanted, quedaron automáticamente como otra banda más de "Fat Wreck Chords".
