Biografía:
Merriweather nació en Melbourne, Australia en 1982. La primera grabación comercial de Merriweather fue como invitado en el track "All I Want" del grupo australiano de dance Disco Montego, en el album del mismo nombre lanzado en el 2002. Este fue seguido por una aparicion en el album Here Comes the Fuzz del DJ/Productor Mark Ronson en el año 2003. Su single solista debut "City Rules" (Producido por Ronson y con la participación del rapero neoyorkino MC Saigon) a principios de 2004 con el tema "She's Got Me" como seguimiento.
