Biografía:
Karen Elson nació el 14 de enero de 1979 en Manchester (Inglaterra). Su pelo rojizo y sus ojos de color azul claro llamaron la atención de una agente de modelos, que le ofreció la oportunidad de fichar por una agencia.
El 1 de junio de 2005, Karen Elson se casó con el miembro del grupo musical 'The White Stripes', Jack White, en una curiosa ceremonia celebrada sobre una canoa en el río Amazonas. El 2 de mayo de 2006, la pareja tuvo su primer hija, una niña a la que llamaron Scarlett Teresa.
