Cantautor de reconocido prestigio crítico, y casi inevitablemente ligado a ello escaso conocimiento y éxito popular, escritor de letras inteligentes y musicalmente innovador aun su reconocida deuda con la tradición folk, mucho más patente en sus dos primeros discos, es una verdadera pena que Joseph Arthur siga siendo un músico para minorías.
