Jennifer Kate Hudson (Chicago, 12 de septiembre de 1981) es una actriz y cantante estadounidense.
Se hizo conocida como finalista de la tercera edición del reality show "American Idol" de FOX. En 2006 interpretó a Effie White en la película musical Dreamgirls, actuación por la que recibió el Oscar y otros importantes galardones, como el Globo de Oro y el premio BAFTA.
