Eric Marlon Bishop (n. Terrell, Texas, EE.UU, 13 de diciembre de 1967), más conocido como Jamie Foxx, es un actor y cantante de R&B estadounidense.
Tras el divorcio de sus padres, fue adoptado por sus abuelos a la edad de 7 meses. Dice que tuvo una infancia rígida en los Boy Scouts y el coro de la iglesia. Estudió música en la universidad. Publicó un álbum musical en 1994, Peep This, y cantó todas las canciones de su película Un domingo cualquiera (1999).
