First Tab and lemme know in the comments what you think if I should change anything.
Love this song but not too familiar with the game.
This plays well with both acoustic and electric.

It sounds fine to me with or without the Capo on the 1st Fret.

The whole song falls around these 5 chords. Em G Cmaj7 B7 D

The strumming pattern for the Verse is: Down, Down Up Down Up, Down Up Down. It's played
very fast and it took me a while to get it.
The strumming pattern for the Chorus is: Down Down, Just two down strokes.

When playing the verses, just play the pattern once then change to the next chord. So
it'll be: Em- Down, Down Up Down Up, Down Up Down,
*chance chord* D- Down, Down Up Down Up, Down Up Down, and etc. Did that make sense?

[Intro]
Em D Cmaj7 B7 x2

[Verse 1]

Em D
As a child, you would wait,
Cmaj7 B7
And watch from far away.
Em D
But you always know that you'd be the one,
Cmaj7 B7
To work while they all play.

Em D Cmaj7 D
In youth, you lay, awake at night at scheme,
Em D
Of all the things that you would change,
C B7
But it was just was just a dream.

[Chorus]
Substituting the D chord with a G chords

Em G Cmaj7 B7
Here we are, don't turn away now
Em G Cmaj7 B7
We are the Warriors that built this town
Em G Cmaj7 B7
Here we are, don't turn away now
Em G Cmaj7 B7
We are the Warriors that Built this town
Em
From Dust

[Verse 2]
Switching the G chord with the D chord. Why? Going back to the verse!

D Cmaj7 B7
The time will come, when you will have to rise
Em D
Above the best, and prove yourself,
Cmaj7 B7
Your spirit never dies.

Em D C B7
Farewell, I've gone, to take my throne above
Em
Don't weep for Me
D C B7
Cause this will be the labor of my love

[Chorus]
Switching out the D chord for the G, again. Last time, don't worry!

Em G Cmaj7 B7
Here we are don't turn away now
Em G Cmaj7 B7
We are the Warriors that built this town
Em G Cmaj7 B7
Here we are don't turn away now
Em G Cmaj7 B7
We are the Warriors that built this town
Em
From dust

*inserts kick ass solo here* Sorry, I haven't tabbed the solo yet :p

Em G Cmaj7 B7
Here we are don't turn away now
Em G Cmaj7 B7
We are the Warriors that built this town
Em G Cmaj7 B7
Here we are don't turn away now
Em G Cmaj7 B7
We are the Warriors that built this town
Em
From dust

*inserts another kick ass solo*

I'll add another tab, just for the solos eventually. But this is just the chord version
for now.
