Biografía:
Edmond Montague "Eddy" Grant (Londres, Inglaterra, 5 de marzo de 1948)
A los 17 años Eddy Grant formó su primer grupo: The Equals (Los Iguales). El grupo estaba formado por Eddy Grant a la guitarra, los hermanos jamaicanos Lincoln (voz) y Derv Gordon (guitarra) y los ingleses Patrick Lloyd (bajo) y john Hall (batería). The Equals fueron de la banda de música multiracial más importantes del Reino Unido en esos tiempos.
